About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and evolution of network and service architectures
  • Create architecture designs to support technology portfolio enhancements
  • Analyze and interpret network simulations and test results to inform architecture decisions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and presentations
  • Drive engineering projects by applying techniques, supervising engineers, and optimizing network architecture processes
  • Monitor industry technologies and standards to influence technology and policy decisions
  • Coach and mentor engineers on technology decisions
  • Contribute to cross-functional technical investigations
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 5 years of related experience
  • Acceptable areas of study include Engineering and Computer Science
  • 7-10 years technical engineering experience
  • 12+ years of experience across UCaaS, telecom, or cloud communications platforms
  • Cloud architecture expertise across Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
  • Strong hands-on experience with IMS Core, SBC, SIP, VoIP, SMSC/MMSC, and related telecom integrations
  • Experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale, carrier-grade and enterprise communications platforms
  • Experience with Agentic AI and AI-powered workflow automation
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents or solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI, or similar platforms
  • Strong production troubleshooting and incident leadership skills
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
  • At least 18 years of age
