About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business and technical goals
  • Determine which capabilities and entry points the enterprise AI assistant supports
  • Evaluate emerging AI models, patterns, and platform advances and adapt the roadmap
  • Conduct market and customer research using usage, resolution quality, and cost-per-interaction data
  • Translate product strategy into detailed features and user stories
  • Manage the product backlog for distributed Agile development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate release schedules and timely delivery
  • Support partner teams onboarding new capabilities
  • Monitor product performance and quality in production
  • Address defects and drive continuous improvement
  • Serve as the primary business-hours contact for the operations team running the assistant
  • Partner with security, privacy, and governance teams on responsible AI practices
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience (Required)
  • 3+ years experience in a hands-on technical role writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in a large-scale company, application or product environment (Required)
  • 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment (Required)

  • Experience working with a distributed or follow-the-sun operations team (Preferred)
  • Experience managing usage-based cost for an AI or cloud product (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability with new AI technologies and a track record of applying them to product decisions (Preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
  • Other Technical Certification or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)
