About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement technical capabilities for scalable and extensible Credit and Collections systems
- Provide coaching on architecture standards and drive architectural design decisions
- Collaborate with business partners to define solution options and support business justification
- Support senior architects with assessments and work-effort estimates during project intake and planning
- Develop and maintain architecture designs, roadmaps, and solution patterns
- Integrate enterprise platforms including billing, payment, CRM, customer care, financial, risk, and data systems
- Support transformation involving decisioning, workflow orchestration, automation, integration, resiliency, scalability, and legacy simplification
- Partner with business, product, engineering, operations, finance, risk, data, and compliance teams
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, privacy, resiliency, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate solution designs through diagrams, documentation, and presentations
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (Required)
- 4-7 years progressive experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms (Required)
- 4-7 years experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions (Required)
- 4-7 years experience in enterprise applications, PLM, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology (Required)
- Experience crafting or supporting solutions in Credit, Collections, Billing, Payments, Risk Management, Customer Financial Operations, or related domains (Required)
- Solid understanding of the Credit and Collections lifecycle (Required)
