About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide business decision-making through quantitative and qualitative data analysis and communication
  • Create visual storytelling and tailored presentations on marketing campaign and tactic impacts
  • Gather requirements through presentation, with content tailored for varying audience levels
  • Design and develop reporting structures and interfaces, including model building
  • Support business intelligence needs using data from AWS Redshift, Azure, Databricks, and other sources
  • Guide data strategy across multiple touch points, including third-party data acquisition and integration
  • Drive core insights from available data and create strategies to improve customer experience and performance
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Define reporting needs for enterprise projects and incorporate them into system design
  • Create comprehensive dashboards from different data sources for verbal and written presentations to senior management
  • Provide recommendations to cross-functional teams that result in process improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics or similar degree plus 5 years of related work experience, or advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
  • 4 years of experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion)
  • 4 years of experience in reporting, analyzing performance and data visualization with Tableau
  • 2 years of experience in online e-commerce or online support environments
  • 2 years of experience in advanced business analytics, including testing, competitive analysis, surveys, and market research
  • 4 years of experience with performant querying of databases (SQL)
  • Expert analytical, problem solving, and critical reasoning skills
  • Advanced communication/consulting, influencing, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
