About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and delivery of complex virtualization and platform architecture strategies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for platform designs, Kubernetes-based virtualization concepts, and operational standards
- Evaluate platform metrics, testing outcomes, and workload performance to inform architecture improvements and technology adoption
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement engineering solutions across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware platforms
- Design and operationalize OpenShift Virtualization, including VM lifecycle management and compute, storage, and networking integration
- Mentor and support associate engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering or related field (Required)
- 5+ Years Technical engineering experience (Required)
- Knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes, and VMware environments
- Ability to interpret platform performance data, test results, technology studies, platform metrics, testing outcomes, and workload performance
- Ability to develop technical documentation and platform designs
- Ability to work across compute, storage, and networking integrations
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to travel
