About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive strategy and execution of national psychiatrist and APP recruitment events
  • Build relationships with psychiatry residency and fellowship programs, program directors, faculty, and trainees
  • Build and grow a national target-program footprint based on program size, specialty focus, and geography
  • Plan and execute dinners, social events, virtual events, career/open-house events, networking events, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Deliver clinical education and introductions to Talkiatry's practice management model, incentives, and transition-to-practice pathway
  • Maintain long-term relationships with program leaders throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Track contacts and outreach in ATS/CRM systems
  • Collaborate with marketing on presentations, collateral, e-invites, content, copywriting, scripts, editing, and social media
  • Own end-to-end event planning, including timelines, technical coordination, budgets, vendors, contracts, registration, staffing, catering, swag, materials, lead retrieval, packing, and shipping
  • Manage conference scheduling, agendas, documentation, booth selection and payment, and action-item tracking
  • Prepare post-event expenditure and outcomes reporting to measure ROI and inform strategy
  • Exceed the annual goal of 30+ successful events per year
  • Partner with clinical leadership and the National Residency Team to generate psychiatrist and APP candidates
  • Guide residents and fellows through interviewing, contracting, and onboarding
  • Provide company-wide support with marketing, job board management, invoicing, and contract renewals
  • Maintain communication with vendors and recruitment management teams
  • Travel to residency/fellowship events and conferences as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Human Resources, or a related field required, or commensurate experience
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in talent attraction
  • At least 2 years of trainee outreach, healthcare, physician recruitment, or clinical/medical education experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM/database tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including overnight and multi-day trips nationwide
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Experience in physician and/or APP recruitment, ideally psychiatry, behavioral health, or a related clinical field
  • Experience in strategic event design and management, budget ownership, and vendor/contract negotiation
  • Experience building relationships with residents, fellows, program directors, faculty, and clinical leadership
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, PracticeMatch, other job boards, and applicant tracking systems
  • Proven ability to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple events, timelines, and stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Marketing fluency, including social media, content development, and campaign copy
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to represent the organization at conferences and tradeshows
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently regionally and nationally
  • Prior recruiting experience strongly preferred; clinical or physician recruiter background is a significant plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
