About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform daily credentialing functions, including processing completed provider files and inputting provider approval dates
  • Manage provider Fountain credentialing processes
  • Coordinate with the Credentialing Verification Organization to ensure timely completion, downloading, and uploading of files and update systems with decisions
  • Correspond with providers regarding missing data such as NPI numbers and CAQH profile information
  • Ensure accurate storage of provider records
  • Ensure timely re-credentialing of the credentialed provider network
  • Coordinate timely completion of re-credentialing reviews for clinicians
  • Review credentialed licenses for accuracy
  • Conduct quarterly internal audits for efficiency and accuracy within the Credentialing Program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Support and assist the Credentialing Manager with projects and administrative functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ year(s) of professional work experience in a highly communicative role required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and/or similar applications
  • Credentialing experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work remotely based on Eastern Time
