About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all daily credentialing functions and quality checks of credentialing files, approval dates, license expiration dates, and provider data
  • Monitor credentialing file status and communicate updates to Credentialing Verification Organizations (CVO)
  • Manage accurate provider data entry, including NPI numbers and CAQH profile information
  • Correspond with providers via Zendesk
  • Coordinate with CVOs and providers on credentialing correspondence and documentation in Fountain
  • Conduct weekly follow-up for provider re-credentialing and maintain CVO databases and Fountain files
  • Perform quality assurance checks on uploaded clinician documents and maintain accurate provider statuses
  • Support provider outreach and retention in high-need states
  • Assist with quarterly internal and annual external CVO audits
  • Provide audit data to the Credentialing Manager and Enterprise clients
  • Review credentialed license data and follow up on expired licenses
  • Maintain relationships with Enterprise clients under delegated credentialing agreements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years of professional work experience in a highly communicative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft or like applications
  • Proficiency with G-Suite or like applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Credentialing experience preferred.
