About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the roadmap, prioritization and delivery of Talos’s connectivity capabilities
  • Expand connectivity into new and emerging markets, including prediction markets and tokenized assets
  • Drive integration projects end to end from technical assessment through development, certification and production rollout
  • Coordinate teams, dependencies, timelines and risks to ensure successful delivery
  • Work with Engineering to define and enhance order entry, market data, FIX/REST/WebSocket APIs, security master, rate limits, resiliency and performance capabilities
  • Ensure connectivity supports liquidity aggregation, smart order routing, algorithms and other EMS capabilities
  • Build technical relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers and external partners
  • Deliver new capabilities and resolve production issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic trading, capital markets technology or institutional digital assets
  • Understanding of EMS/OEMS workflows, order lifecycle, market data and multi-venue trading
  • Ability to organize and drive multiple complex technical projects concurrently
  • Experience with exchange, broker, dealer or liquidity-provider connectivity
  • Working knowledge of FIX and API-based trading protocols, including REST and WebSocket
  • Technical aptitude with API documentation, logs, JSON messages and production data
  • Understanding of order types, liquidity aggregation, smart order routing, rate limits and execution algorithms
  • Comfortable using SQL for investigation and analysis
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Digital asset experience is beneficial but not required
