About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build scalable data pipelines using C# and .NET Core
Identify manual, slow, or error-prone processes and build automated solutions
Create internal dashboards and full-stack applications using Angular/TypeScript, .NET Core, and NodeJS
Turn complex operational data into actionable insights for internal teams
Build, deploy, and maintain high-performance services using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
Evaluate and adopt new tools and practices as part of an agile team
Help shape the company’s technology stack and scalability strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–3 years of professional software development experience writing clean, maintainable code
Experience building full-stack applications, backend logic, data processing/ETL pipelines, and user interfaces
Proficiency in C# / .NET Core, TypeScript, or modern web application frameworks, preferably Angular or Node.js
Solid understanding of SQL and database systems, including MS SQL and MySQL
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
Hands-on experience or familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools, including Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes, is an asset
Interest or experience in AI, LLMs, or automated agents is an asset
Portfolio, GitHub link, or code samples preferred
Technical testing / coding assessment required
Ability to work in Waterloo 3 days a week
