About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain hands-on experience in cloud security and operations at a software security company
- Select and deliver a mentor-vetted project with support from a 1-to-1 mentor and engineers
- Implement security detective and preventive controls for Tanium Cloud security operations
- Implement DevOps security tools providing security context and recommendations for deployed cloud resources
- Identify and process security operations data to create or improve dashboards and monitoring
- Work as a member of Tanium’s Cloud Cybersecurity team
- Present completed work to Tanium’s R&D team
- Demonstrate the completed project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
- Available to work full-time from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027
- Currently enrolled bachelor's degree candidate
- GPA of 3.5 or above required
- Graduating Spring 2028 or Fall 2027
- Some experience with cloud such as AWS
- Passionate about hands-on learning and solving security challenges
- Ability to communicate and work with peers
- Prior internship preferred
