About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design repeatable, scalable design system patterns and componentry for design and engineering
- Design and prototype user interfaces for enterprise software applications, ensuring navigation, usability, and accessibility
- Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs to improve user experience and satisfaction
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements, refine features, and deliver high-quality solutions
- Develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and usability
- Conduct usability testing and gather actionable improvement insights
- Document design decisions and best practices to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Design foundational styles, patterns, and UI elements for Tanium solutions across the platform
- Support AI strategies in Tanium product solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, specifically in a Design System capacity
- Understanding of systems design, tokens, and atomic design principles
- Experience designing technical B2B solutions
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Strong UI skills and understanding of design systems in Figma
- Experience with user research methods, prototyping tools, and usability testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience with data visualization and/or dashboard design
- Experience designing for AI and Agentic AI technologies
