About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the delivery of client change and align Target’s resources with client strategic priorities
- Act as a trusted delivery partner for clients
- Nurture client relationships and understand their strategy and priorities
- Translate client needs into structured delivery roadmaps
- Ensure projects are scoped, planned, and delivered to agreed milestones and outcomes
- Apply commercial and financial awareness to programme decisions
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial controls
- Support pricing, bids, and commercial conversations with clients
- Lead, develop, and support Project Managers
- Inspire and energise the wider change and technology community
- Deliver programmes in line with Target’s frameworks, ensuring control, compliance, and quality
- Report progress, escalate risks, and embed lessons learned
- Champion continuous improvement, lean delivery, and high performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues
- Organised, structured, and confident managing time and competing priorities
- Commercial and financial awareness, including managing budgets and financial forecasts
- Supportive leadership skills
- Proven experience leading change delivery in a client-facing role
- Strong financial services experience
- A PM qualification (APM, Prince2, or equivalent)
- Experience leading Project Managers and managing portfolios
- Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches
- Experience delivering in outsourced or BPO environments (nice to have)
- Offshore team collaboration experience (nice to have)
- Exposure to ISO/CMMI (nice to have)
- Agile qualifications and/or MSP certification (nice to have)
