About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and activate agency engagement strategies supporting Roundel’s agency strategy and revenue growth objectives
  • Build, lead and develop a team of Agency Development professionals
  • Establish and grow strategic relationships with senior agency executives and key decision makers
  • Develop agency-specific growth plans to increase adoption of Roundel solutions and unlock incremental revenue
  • Build scalable engagement models, programs and narratives that increase agency awareness, understanding and advocacy
  • Partner with Category Partner Solutions leaders and teams to identify agency-led opportunities and accelerate revenue growth
  • Develop strategies for a healthy pipeline of agency-driven opportunities and hold the team accountable for financial and operational expectations
  • Set priorities, coach, develop and manage individual performance
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to agencies, providing insights, capabilities and solutions
  • Work cross-functionally across Roundel and Target to align agency priorities with business, product and go-to-market strategies
  • Identify emerging agency trends, operating-model changes and marketplace opportunities and translate them into actionable strategies
  • Inspire and lead the team through clear direction and accountability
  • Report to the Sr. Director, Agency & Specialists, Partner Solutions, Roundel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of proven digital / media sales experience
  • Proven track record of delivering on sales goals and developing strategic agency partnerships that generate revenue growth
  • Demonstrated experience building, developing and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong relationships across the media and agency industry
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital media environment, trends / technology and agency landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and maximize relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Solution oriented and strategic team player; strong ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Agency development experience (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of how agencies operate, including planning, investment, strategy and client leadership functions (preferred)
  • Strong commercial orientation with the ability to identify opportunities, build growth strategies and translate relationships into business outcomes (preferred)
  • Preference for candidates to be based in Chicago, New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles or Minneapolis
