About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive total store sales and contribute to total store profitability
  • Manage Food & Beverage, food services, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes
  • Manage a team of experts in operations, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Lead pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work when applicable
  • Develop and use workload planning tools to complete scheduled workload
  • Conduct regular team check-ins to ensure task and workload completion
  • Manage GM backroom and sales floor areas; review reporting, identify gaps, and develop corrective plans
  • Oversee GM Team Leaders' workload planning, transitions, revisions, and salesplans
  • Lead Fulfillment team to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
  • Drive food safety culture; train, validate, and coach the team on food safety standards and cleaning routines
  • Oversee Food & Beverage Team Leader workload planning, transitions, revisions, salesplans, sampling, and promotions
  • Create a guest-focused culture and deliver store sales goals
  • Assess competition and leverage guest insights and feedback
  • Work schedules aligned with guest and business needs, including early morning, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
  • Ensure products are in stock, fresh, food safe, accurately priced, and properly signed
  • Assess GM and Food & Beverage areas and reporting to identify and resolve gaps
  • Plan, lead, and follow up on organizational and operational change
  • Anticipate and identify changes in store trends
  • Develop and coach team members
  • Establish accountability through expectations and performance management; develop, coach, train, recruit, and plan staffing
  • Provide service and shopping experiences meeting guest needs
  • Maintain ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; hold the team accountable
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier
  • Address store needs, including emergencies and regulatory visits
  • Perform other duties based on business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to manage conflict, lead, and hold others accountable
  • Ability to relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Ability to access all areas of the building
  • Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and information
  • Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
