About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead print buying and sourcing activities for qualified RFP opportunities
  • Request vendor quotes, compare suppliers, develop pricing workbooks, and prepare customer-facing pricing recommendations
  • Interpret print, promotional, label, kitting, distribution, and related production specifications
  • Analyze customer requirements, historical pricing, supplier quotes, and market data to evaluate competitiveness and recommend adjustments or sourcing alternatives
  • Collaborate with sourcing, sales, category management, finance, operations, distribution, and subject matter experts
  • Participate in RFP kickoff, sourcing, costing, and pricing review meetings
  • Evaluate total landed cost, including production, materials, freight, warehousing, fulfillment, and finance charges
  • Apply margin guidance to develop costing and pricing workbooks and document assumptions, supplier rationale, and pricing risks
  • Maintain pricing files, vendor quote documentation, sourcing assumptions, and profitability analysis materials
  • Support ISO quality reviews and audits by maintaining traceable sourcing and pricing documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in print buying, print procurement, sourcing, estimating, costing, pricing analysis, or print management services
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Advanced skill using spreadsheets and reporting tools to analyze supplier quotes, historical spend, market benchmarks, pricing scenarios, and profitability
  • Strong understanding of print, promotional, label, packaging, and related production processes, including materials, equipment capabilities, production rates, and supplier cost drivers
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to build and maintain detailed pricing workbooks and communicate findings clearly
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
  • Use of Salesforce reports, dashboards, opportunity data, pricing fields, or related analytics preferred
  • Experience comparing vendor capabilities, negotiating or challenging supplier pricing, and documenting supplier selection rationale preferred
  • Ability to communicate complex sourcing and pricing recommendations clearly and professionally to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage multiple RFP timelines, vendor inputs, pricing assumptions, and stakeholder requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
