About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform installation, testing, repair, and maintenance on compressor stations, measurement facilities, and pipeline systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot gas analyzers, chromatographs, meters, PLCs, control valves, and auxiliary systems
- Operate and maintain gas turbines, generators, boilers, fuel gas compressors, and HVAC systems
- Configure and install control system software
- Conduct Pre-Start Safety Reviews
- Lead and manage low/medium complexity projects, including contractor coordination
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Provide emergency support and participate in on-call rotation
- Support business partners and mentor junior personnel
- Complete SAP entries, reporting, and documentation
- Report to the Area Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
- 5+ years industry relevant experience
- Dual ticketed in Electrical and Instrumentation preferred
- Previous experience with high-pressure natural gas systems preferred
- Proficient in SAP and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferred
- Skilled in maintaining control systems and interpreting technical documentation preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
- Willing to travel up to 40% of schedule and stay overnight as required
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency support as required
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based, without restrictions
- Background screening, which may include criminal and/or credit checks
