Key responsibilities & impact

Support the efficient operation of natural gas pipelines and storage systems under guidance from senior level engineers
Collaborate with Gas Control, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient daily operations across multiple pipeline segments
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to plan, execute, and communicate maintenance and project activities impacting pipeline operations
Use hydraulic pipeline simulation models to evaluate pipeline capacity and determine pipeline constraints
Use hydraulic pipeline simulation models, historical data, and operational experience to provide input for project design and execution
Work with engineers and stakeholders to develop operational modes and procedures
Combine commercial, stakeholder, and technical data to analyze risk and identify critical facilities
Develop and maintain data analysis tools to optimize capacity and improve operational efficiency

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
2–4 years of related engineering experience
Experience with fluid flow simulation tools (e.g., DNV Synergi Gas, Gregg Engineering, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based, without restrictions
Background screening is required
Preferred: Experience in U.S. natural gas industry operations
Preferred: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred: Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python)
