About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with global consolidation of monthly and quarterly financial results
- Partner with local finance teams across multiple countries to ensure accuracy and US GAAP compliance
- Deliver harmonized processes and technology-driven solutions supporting global integration and automation
- Conduct variance analysis for assigned countries and present findings to executive management
- Support the monthly close process, including posting top-level journal entries
- Review co-workers’ work papers
- Document financial data, analysis, and supporting schedules
- Review and provide feedback on internal and external management reports and presentations
- Support Tax Restructuring Step Plans, Chart of Account Maintenance, and special projects
- Perform accounting research for management and subsidiaries
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and recommend process improvements
- Support internal and external audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Big 4 accounting experience preferred
- CPA or CPA-track candidate preferred
- Strong technical accounting expertise
- Experience working in or testing a strong internal control environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to senior leadership
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships across diverse teams and cultures
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards
- Occasional overtime or non-standard hours as needed
- Occasional travel may be required
