About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans and programs supporting product line growth, revenue objectives, and market expansion
  • Analyze market intelligence, competitive trends, customer demand, and industry insights to identify opportunities and drive business decisions
  • Track performance against annual and quarterly business goals and recommend adjustments to optimize results
  • Act as business owner for the Cisco Buying Programs portfolio, driving growth, profitability, and market positioning
  • Partner with Cisco and internal stakeholders on vendor strategies, business initiatives, and go-to-market plans
  • Serve as subject matter expert on vendor programs, technologies, and market trends
  • Identify strategic customers and develop partnerships supporting long-term success
  • Collaborate with sales teams to uncover growth opportunities and expand market reach
  • Promote complementary solutions across targeted industry verticals
  • Develop executive-level reports, business reviews, and presentations communicating insights, recommendations, and performance metrics
  • Deliver presentations to vendor and customer audiences
  • Identify innovative approaches to generate business opportunities and strengthen competitive positioning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, vendor management, product management, channel sales, marketing, technology distribution, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, negotiate effectively, and drive consensus
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality results
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology tools
  • Experience working with Cisco solutions, vendor programs, or technology channel partners
  • Knowledge of go-to-market strategy development and business planning processes
