About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyze profit and loss (P&L) performance for assigned vendor lines
  • Track revenue, Net GM%, and Net GM$, and recommend improvements to drive profitability
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and support operational efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for business planning and decision-making
  • Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, and business forecasts to ensure product availability
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on inventory-management risks and opportunities
  • Provide insights and recommendations from forecasting and inventory analysis
  • Build and maintain productive vendor relationships
  • Understand vendor goals, priorities, and strategic objectives
  • Support negotiations, resolve challenges, and collaborate with vendors to maximize opportunities
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational issues and deliver timely resolutions
  • Partner with sales teams to develop demand-generation and vendor-solution strategies
  • Assist with pricing discussions, customer inquiries, and sales activities
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations with actionable business insights for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business operations, product management, marketing, vendor management, sales support, supply chain, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Experience creating reports, presentations, and business recommendations
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Preferred: Experience with forecasting, inventory analysis, or financial performance management
  • Preferred: Knowledge of market analysis, vendor management, or business development practices
