About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outside plant project support for a geographic area
Prepare records, statistics and reports relating to Outside Plant functions
Support Outside Plant Engineering and/or Construction to ensure projects are completed on time, in scope and on budget
Monitor and manage project scope, budget, timeline, installation and integration
Collect and verify data required for outside plant engineering and construction tasks
Examine project documentation and ensure data completeness and accuracy
Assist in preparing records, statistics and reports regarding outside plant functions
Maintain data integrity of outside plant-related tools
Evaluate and recommend changes in methods and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience
1+ years of utility construction – AND/OR - engineering experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new tools (i.e.: GIS, UTS, Clarity, etc.) as they are deployed
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, analytical, able to work with minimal supervision
SAP Experience/knowledge
1+ years of telecommunications experience
Project Management experience/exposure
