About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and ensure accuracy of the full accounting cycle, including invoice posting, payment processing, and reconciliations
- Post Italian passive invoices and review the registration of foreign passive invoices
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Perform tax compliance duties, including VAT returns and tax filings
- Liaise with external consultants and tax advisors
- Manage treasury activities, including cash flow monitoring, bank account management, and payment execution
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with reliable financial data and insights
- Support group-wide projects and initiatives, including ERP systems and new tools
- Collaborate across functions and countries on finance-related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience working with Italian companies
- Strong technical Excel skills
- Proficient in English
- 2+ years of experience in similar roles
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite (nice to have)
- Proficiency in AI tools applied to finance and accounting workflows (nice to have)
- Proficient in Italian (nice to have)
