About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle inbound calls from prospective students and explain package options, pricing, and inclusions
- Make outbound follow-up calls to leads and past inquiries who have not enrolled
- Convert students who completed the Driver's Ed classroom portion into scheduled, paid driving lessons
- Handle objections related to price, scheduling, and hesitation
- Present pricing and package benefits in English or Spanish
- Send progress reports to parents and upsell additional lessons or packages
- Coordinate lesson scheduling across a limited vehicle fleet and instructors with varying availability
- Follow up on missing or incomplete required documents
- Keep scheduling records accurate and minimize conflicts or gaps
- Respond to questions about scheduling, policies, and procedures
- Resolve concerns and complaints professionally
- Log every call, lead, and follow-up outcome
- Assist with basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years in customer service and/or sales, ideally with phone-based experience
- Demonstrated comfort with a steady volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Track record of meeting sales or conversion targets, not just service metrics
- Comfortable managing scheduling and administrative follow-up alongside sales calls
- Fluent in both English and Spanish — spoken and written
- C1–C2 English proficiency required (mandatory)
- Able to switch fluidly between English and Spanish mid-call depending on the customer
- Comfortable pitching, explaining pricing, and closing in either language
- Strong phone presence: clear, confident, and persuasive on calls
- Active listening and objection-handling under real sales pressure
- Highly organized and able to juggle sales follow-up, scheduling, and document tracking
- Comfortable working without a dedicated CRM and adaptable to a new system
- Dedicated, quiet workspace suited for phone-based work
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional headset
- Availability during business hours for inbound and outbound calling
- Meet enrollment/sales targets and call activity benchmarks
- Maintain accurate records for every call, lead, scheduled lesson, and outstanding document
- Basic QuickBooks familiarity is a plus
- Previous call-center, telesales, or driving-school/education-services experience preferred
- Experience with scheduling software or systems preferred
