About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage IT infrastructure planning and implementation across a large healthcare construction project.
- Develop and maintain the IT project plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, and implementation activities.
- Coordinate network infrastructure, endpoints, printers, scanners, wireless, and other technology required throughout the facility.
- Partner with construction, facilities, vendors, clinical teams, and internal IT stakeholders to align technology requirements with building plans and timelines.
- Translate ambulatory clinical workflows and room designs into technology and endpoint requirements.
- Coordinate network implementation and wireless requirements with internal teams and external design partners.
- Support Epic-adjacent infrastructure requirements, including print mapping and clinical device/endpoint workflows.
- Plan technology for specialized workflows, including Beaker printers, barcode scanners, exam room technology, and other clinical devices.
- Manage implementation activities through construction, activation, and facility opening.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong healthcare construction project management experience.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure for new hospital, clinic, ambulatory, or other healthcare facility construction.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, endpoints, wireless, printers, and clinical technology infrastructure.
- Experience supporting ambulatory clinical environments and understanding clinical workflows and exam room technology requirements.
- Epic-adjacent infrastructure experience, including print mapping and endpoint workflows.
- Experience coordinating technology requirements with construction teams, architects, vendors, and internal IT stakeholders.
- Strong project planning, implementation, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco for the duration of the engagement.
- Experience with Cisco networking and Aruba wireless environments.
- Experience with Dell endpoints and HP printers.
- Familiarity with Epic ambulatory and/or Beaker-related workflows and devices.
- Experience working within a P3/public-private partnership construction model.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare facility activations or new-building openings.
