About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze real estate and private equity projects
Run and update financial project models
Build models and presentation materials for internal use and partner/investor pitches
Collaborate with sell-side analysts, company/partner financial analysts, and investor relations teams
Perform credit analysis of international bond issuers and model watch lists in Excel/Bloomberg
Conduct international equity analysis for portfolio management
Create and maintain equity watch lists
Download and statistically analyze data for backdated investment-idea testing
Execute ad hoc assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–3 years of professional experience as a Buy-Side Equity Analyst, Investment Analyst, or in a closely related investment role covering US and/or European equities
Practical skills in business models and cash-flow projection models for companies/projects
Knowledge of terminology used in financial and credit analysis
Practical experience in trading securities is a plus but not required
Skills in sector, company, and project analysis, including SWOT analysis
Knowledge of valuation methodologies for companies/projects
Ability to navigate company accounting data and reports
Ability to sift through large data loads
Basic skills in finding needed data in open sources
Ability to accurately work with large quantitative datasets
Experience preparing financial presentations
Practical experience building financial models in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
SQL programming is a plus
Statistical analysis programming knowledge is a plus
Perfect command of English is required
Ability to digest financial technical documentation and research/financial statements reports
Russian or other languages are a plus but not required
