About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute discretionary trade orders for portfolio managers
Implement medium-term discretionary ideas in fixed income, equities, and foreign exchange
Operate the Bloomberg terminal and monitor alerts for limited-order executions and market-driven news
Monitor sell-side recommendation changes and market-moving factors affecting buy-list candidates
Alert analysts and portfolio managers promptly about general market trends and conditions
Participate in generating trade ideas
Assess equity-market volatility to achieve better-than-VWAP execution
Take personal responsibility for decision-making and trade execution in line with established investment policy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Basic knowledge of financial market instruments, operating principles, and basic infrastructure elements
Practical experience executing trades through various trading platforms, including Bloomberg API
Deep practical skills and knowledge in financial markets and operating environments for US and European markets preferred
2+ years of experience as a buy-side trader or analyst preferred
Creative approach, attention to detail, and ability to generate market ideas that add value to the overall portfolio
Team-player orientation desired
Fluent English and Russian required
French, Spanish, or German is a plus
Knowledge and understanding of option pricing, hedging strategies, and derivatives is a plus
Based in Cyprus and ready to visit an office in Nicosia occasionally
