About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Asset Managers responsible for solar, wind, biogas and energy storage assets
- Monitor assets under construction, including progress, schedules, contractual milestones and deadlines
- Participate in preparing progress meetings, site visits and discussions with site managers, subcontractors and inspection bodies
- Monitor the quality of works, acceptance procedures, resolution of outstanding items and commissioning of power plants
- Support the monitoring of EPC contracts, milestone invoicing, commitments, performance tests and any delays
- Assist with monitoring the defects liability period and contractual warranties
- Prepare the transfer of information, contracts and documents required to transition projects from construction to operations
- Monitor the performance, output, availability and technical and financial KPIs of operational power plants
- Compare results against targets, identify variances and support the monitoring of action plans
- Assist with monitoring operations, maintenance, insurance, lease and aggregation contracts
- Participate in handling incidents and claims and in monitoring reports with grid operators
- Monitor invoicing and collections in coordination with the finance and administration teams
- Participate in preparing and monitoring operational reporting and business plans
- Contribute to the development and automation of monitoring and reporting tools, including dashboards, Monday and Power BI
Requirements
What you’ll need- Student in the second half of a gap year or in the final year of an engineering or business school
- Seeking an internship starting in January 2027
- Interest in renewable energy, asset management and project monitoring
- Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Curious, self-motivated and proactive
- Proficient in office software, particularly Excel
- Power BI is a plus
- A valid driver’s license is a plus; occasional travel may be required
