About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage software configuration for the IFS ERP and related applications
Advise users on the application systems under responsibility
Ensure solution quality and operational performance
Coordinate corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance
Apply established service quality standards, methods, and tools
Maintain the application landscape, including components and data flows
Publish business procedures and technical notes in the knowledge base
Monitor technology solution service quality, identify gaps, and track continuous improvement initiatives
Act as primary contact between IT and business users
Prioritise and resolve Level 1 and 2 support requests daily
Escalate issues to software vendors and integrators and follow them through resolution
Liaise with the technical infrastructure team on security, access management, scalability, and performance
Challenge requests for additional configuration using a coherent business-process perspective
Contribute to functional and technical specifications for application configuration evolution
Support users in adopting and effectively using applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Master’s degree is a plus
At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing the IFS ERP platform from a technical standpoint
Solid functional knowledge of the IFS ERP platform
Experience in a fast-growing mid-sized company or large international group is ideal
Expertise in ERP management, specifically the IFS product
Exposure to SaaS solutions for payments and treasury management, tax reporting, document digitalisation and processing, or similar ERP-complementary solutions
Knowledge of application interfaces (APIs)
Knowledge of software lifecycle management using agile and/or hybrid methods
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Ability to write support tickets for international stakeholders and lead meetings
Ability to understand and clearly reformulate expressed needs in writing and verbally for diverse audiences, including Procurement and Finance teams
Autonomous, structured, humble, strongly prioritised, and team-oriented
