About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and enhance operating procedures related to financial risk management
- Ensure the application of corporate procedures and contribute to the development of Group internal controls
- Implement and monitor an internal control framework in France and international subsidiaries
- Recommend tools to improve the quality of financial statements and financial reporting
- Define and monitor performance indicators
- Prepare landing forecasts and operational reports for subsidiaries
- Lead the subsidiaries’ budgeting process
- Design and ensure the reliability of business-specific dashboards
- Analyze subsidiary performance and identify corrective actions
- Monitor financing arrangements and obligations to lenders
- Produce financial analyses for and advise the executive team
- Supervise a Junior Financial Controller and interns
- Lead financial control activities and implement monitoring and control tools
- Audit quarterly closings and financial reporting packages
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the legal information required for annual closings
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and processes
- Monitor regulatory, tax, and financial developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent program
- At least three years of experience in a similar role or gained within an audit firm
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong ability to analyze financial data
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Interest in AI tools and emerging applications that optimize financial processes
- Strong interest in analysis, control, and continuous improvement
- Motivation to work in the renewable energy and energy transition sector
