About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leads to understand hiring needs
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across the contact center portfolio, including sourcing, hiring, processing, and onboarding
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates by phone, pre-recorded video, and/or in person, administer assessments, check references, and recommend hire or no hire
  • Follow up with candidates and Hiring Managers on interview process status
  • Manage and report candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); analyze pipeline health and recommend changes
  • Draft and deliver employment offers for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Manage the security process for contingent hires, guide candidates, answer questions, and verify documents before submission
  • Meet hiring goals, turnaround times, and service-level expectations
  • Learn and independently operate new systems, tools, and workflows
  • Develop job descriptions
  • Build and maintain relationships with active and passive talent
  • Design, refine, and implement recruiting strategies with recruiting teams and senior managers
  • Monitor job boards, social networks, and recruiting platforms; create and publish job descriptions and announcements
  • Source and identify candidates meeting specified requirements and experience
  • Communicate employment information during offer delivery, including benefits, compensation, and non-competition agreements
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
  • Upload, track, and maintain documentation in ATS, HRIS, and security systems, ensuring labeling, version control, and audit readiness
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting required
  • Experience in federal contracting recruiting highly desired
  • Working knowledge of the recruiting life cycle
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Experience handling multiple positions/portfolios
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet searches
  • Working knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience working with job board databases, HR software, databases, and management systems
  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews
  • Experience working or supporting a federal government contracting company
  • Experience ensuring position descriptions are posted to all state/diversity job boards
  • Experience recruiting for Service Contract Act (SCA) covered positions
  • Experience building professional networks to identify qualified passive candidates
  • Working knowledge of SCA wage determinations, labor categories, and compliance considerations
  • Familiarity with government contract staffing requirements, including clearance requirements, onboarding timelines, and flow-down obligations
  • BA/BS preferred
