About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leads to understand hiring needs
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across the contact center portfolio, including finding, hiring, processing, and onboarding talent
- Screen resumes and interview candidates by phone, pre-recorded video, and/or in person
- Administer assessments and conduct reference checks
- Make hire or no-hire recommendations
- Follow up with candidates and Hiring Managers regarding interview-process status
- Manage and report candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Apply data analysis skills and tools to evaluate pipeline health and recommend changes
- Draft and deliver employment offers for exempt and non-exempt positions
- Manage the security process for contingent hires, including candidate guidance, questions, and document accuracy checks
- Meet competitive hiring goals, turnaround times, and service-level expectations
- Learn and independently operate new systems, tools, and workflows
- Develop job descriptions
- Build and maintain relationships with active and passive talent
- Design, refine, and implement recruiting strategies with the recruiting team and senior managers
- Monitor job boards, social networks, and talent platforms
- Create and release job descriptions and announcements
- Source and identify candidates using online resources
- Communicate employment information during offers, including benefits, compensation, and non-competition agreements
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
- Upload, track, and maintain documentation in ATS, HRIS, and security systems
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS + 5 years of experience in recruiting required
- Experience in federal contracting recruiting highly desired
- Working knowledge of the recruiting life cycle
- Experience working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Experience handling multiple positions/portfolios
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet searches
- Working knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking System
- Experience working with job board databases, HR software, databases, and management systems
- Proven experience conducting various types of interviews
- Experience working or supporting a federal government contracting company
- Experience ensuring position descriptions are posted to all state/diversity job boards
- Experience recruiting for Service Contract Act (SCA) covered positions
- Experience building professional networks to identify qualified passive candidates
- Working knowledge of SCA wage determinations, labor categories, and compliance considerations
- Familiarity with government contract staffing requirements, including clearance requirements, onboarding timelines, and flow-down obligations
