About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and prioritize the backlog for the Itopia framework across low-code, APIs, mobile and platform services, turning needs into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, and accepting completed work
Own the product lifecycle of the Data API and Event API, including capabilities, developer experience, documentation, versioning, deprecation, and AI-agent readiness through MCP servers
Evolve the low-code platform and Itopia user interface so teams, partners and customers can build and extend Elite applications safely through upgrades
Own shared platform services such as printing with BarTender and improve mobile workflows for warehouse and handheld users
Triage and prioritize escalated customer issues, turning recurring patterns into product fixes and measuring adoption and impact after release
Coordinate launch readiness with documentation, enablement and go-to-market teams
Promote Itopia through demos, webinars, user conference sessions and analyst briefings
Partner with the AI product team on AI-assisted experiences and use AI tools for requirements drafting, analysis, documentation, backlog refinement and spec-driven flows
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and retrospectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on a technical software product, ideally a platform used by developers or other product teams
Experience contributing to the requirements, design or lifecycle of an API offering (REST or event-driven)
Hands-on backlog management with engineering teams in an Agile environment, using Jira
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to discuss architecture, data models and tradeoffs with developers
Experience presenting to external audiences, such as user conferences, webinars or analyst briefings
Highly collaborative, with the ability to work well with both technical and business stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
