About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance payers
- Coordinate benefits, prior authorizations, appeals, enrollment, and patient support services
- Guide patients through access, affordability, and reimbursement processes
- Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients
- Manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines, SOPs, and privacy standards
- Complete 4-5 weeks of onsite training before transitioning to remote work
Requirements
What you’ll need- HUB, Patient Services, Reimbursement, Insurance, Healthcare Billing, or Benefit Verification experience
- Strong knowledge of prior authorizations, appeals, and medical/pharmacy insurance terminology
- Call center or customer service experience in a healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST
- Ability to attend 4-5 weeks of onsite training
- Availability for a 3-month contract
