About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, redline, negotiate, execute, and maintain contracts for supplies and purchased services
- Ensure agreements comply with organizational, regulatory, and legal requirements
- Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives, including supplier evaluations, pricing negotiations, contract renewals, and competitive bid processes
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with Legal, Finance, Information Systems, Privacy, Supply Chain, and other business partners
- Track and manage contracts through Workday Strategic Sourcing and other contract management systems
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and repository records
- Provide status updates and reporting on sourcing, negotiations, and contract activities
- Support value analysis initiatives, supplier diversity efforts, and process improvement projects
- Assist with additional Supply Chain initiatives and departmental priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of healthcare supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management experience
- Experience negotiating pricing agreements, managing supplier relationships, and leading bid/RFP processes
- Proven contract management experience, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Experience ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and legal standards
- Strong project management and contract administration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience utilizing contract management platforms such as Workday Strategic Sourcing or similar systems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Legal, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and leadership teams
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience supporting healthcare organizations, health systems, hospitals, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with value analysis methodologies and supplier performance evaluation
- Experience supporting supplier diversity initiatives
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing competing priorities
