About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Resolve insurance-related issues involving missing documentation, policy cancellations, coverage discrepancies, and payment concerns
  • Contact insurance providers to verify policy information and obtain required documentation
  • Explain insurance requirements and next steps to customers
  • Document customer interactions and updates in internal systems
  • Leave professional, scripted messages when customers or insurance representatives are unavailable
  • Follow established procedures, compliance guidelines, and quality standards
  • Meet productivity, attendance, and performance expectations
  • Maintain a positive, professional customer experience
  • Complete classroom instruction, system training, job shadowing, supervised call handling, and ongoing coaching

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent in both French and English (written and verbal)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Experience in call center, retail, hospitality/restaurant, office support, data entry, or other customer-facing environments
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the phone
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Positive attitude and professional phone presence
  • Stable work history
  • Must successfully complete a training assessment
  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Experience handling a high volume of calls preferred
  • Customer support or customer service background preferred
  • Experience with CRM or web-based systems preferred
  • Financial services or insurance industry experience preferred
  • Experience working with scripts and performance metrics preferred
