About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide inbound support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
- Assist with program enrollment, reimbursement processes, and affordability support
- Help patients access prescribed therapies by coordinating resources and services
- Support Care Coordinators and Reimbursement Specialists with patient case management activities
- Build relationships with patients and provider offices while delivering exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Healthcare customer service, contact center, insurance, reimbursement, medical billing, or patient services experience
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, healthcare benefits, and reimbursement processes preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using CRM systems and handling multiple applications simultaneously
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on 5 consecutive days with 2 days off
- Ability to complete more than 5 weeks of onsite training in North Carolina
- Remote work following training requirements
