About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and process various insurance claims
  • Verify data by conferring with appropriate agencies daily
  • Create and process electronic claim submissions for various payers daily
  • Research claim errors, make corrections, and resubmit claims
  • Review accounts receivable reports daily and follow up on delinquent accounts
  • Receive, investigate, and respond to inquiries from payers and/or agencies concerning accounts receivable activity
  • Maintain and develop accounts receivable schedules to track issues and resolutions
  • Resolve customer requests, inquiries, and concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • 1+ year of Medical Claims or Insurance experience
  • Reliable internet and office space to work from home
  • Strong computer skills and data entry
  • Skills in insurance verification, denials management, prior authorization, insurance claims, and claims processes
  • Must live in Kentucky
