About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage one or more projects, project teams, or programs
Own customer expectations, delivery assurance for application services deliverables, and overall client outcomes
Quantify business benefits of project outcomes throughout engagements
Manage complex deliverable-based, fully outsourced, or large-scale engagements and programs
Ensure customer satisfaction, contract compliance, and customer referenceability
Conduct periodic customer, project, and solution health checks using target metrics and Value Streams
Define and implement communication plans with clients and internal teams
Communicate project status, opportunities, and risks; escalate issues as needed
Participate in account strategy development and execution
Collaborate with Practice, Solutions, and Sales Teams to identify improved service approaches and drive growth
Track KPIs and quantifiable metrics supporting business and project goals
Manage expectations, resolve business issues, and ensure customer requirements are fulfilled
Mentor, manage, and develop project team members
Conduct employee performance reviews as required
Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, high-quality workforce
Plan, execute, and oversee data-related projects
Lead and deliver platforms and products using Cloud and DevOps technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science; other majors acceptable with requisite experience
13+ years of experience in information technology and professional services at a consulting services technology provider
At least 10+ years of project management experience, including at least 4+ years as a technical project manager
Proven experience planning, executing, and overseeing data-related projects
Expertise in Agile and waterfall project management methodologies and tools such as Jira
Strong understanding of development principles, including data, life cycle, quality, governance, security, and ethics
4+ years of development experience
Experience in enterprise architecture and solution design
Hands-on leadership and end-to-end ownership of platforms and products using modern technology stacks, including Cloud and DevOps
Knowledge of data technologies such as data warehousing or cloud experience preferred
Excellent experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification preferred
PMP or other project management certification, such as Scrum Certified, preferred
Strong situational awareness with a Customer First Mindset
Excellent oral and written communication, analysis and problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
Experience communicating and presenting at senior executive/director levels
Superior people and personnel management skills
Active commitment to personal and professional development
