About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver comprehensive virtual care through on-demand visits
- Provide care through a variety of modalities
- Deliver timely, convenient, patient-centered care whenever and wherever patients need it
- Add telehealth to an existing clinical practice or build a telemedicine practice depending on licensed states
- Treat common illnesses including cold/flu symptoms, bronchitis, allergies, sinusitis, and UTIs
- Complete documentation using Teladoc Health’s proprietary software
- Practice independently on the Teladoc telehealth platform
- Participate in identity and credential verification, interviews, and fraud or misrepresentation screening
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner with urgent care or emergency medicine
- Active, unrestricted licensure in a minimum of four (4) states at the time of hire
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Nationally NP board certified: FNP-BC or FNP-C
- Eligible for and willing to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs, with no exclusions preventing participation
- Clean professional record with no board disciplinary actions
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and confidence practicing independently
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to telehealth platforms and evolving virtual care protocols
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
