About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for Enrollment, Eligibility Verification, Benefits Access, and Member Activation
  • Define and execute the long-term technology strategy for enrollment and eligibility platforms
  • Drive onboarding experiences that maximize enrollment completion and member activation rates
  • Partner with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Client Management, and Strategy teams to improve acquisition funnels and onboarding outcomes
  • Ensure platform performance, reliability, data quality, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Establish architectural standards supporting future growth and evolving business requirements
  • Lead Senior Managers and engineering teams across onshore and offshore delivery models
  • Maintain project governance, including roadmap execution, dependency management, risk mitigation, and executive communication
  • Mentor engineering leaders and promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee enrollment and eligibility ecosystems enabling members to enroll, verify eligibility, and access appropriate healthcare benefits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Experience managing large engineering organizations
  • Demonstrated success leading organizations of 30+ engineers
  • Experience building and scaling registration, enrollment, benefits administration, or healthcare access platforms
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, platform architecture, and high-volume transaction processing
  • Ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated project execution rigor and operational excellence
  • Experience within healthcare, payer, health plan, benefits administration, or eligibility ecosystems preferred
  • Experience optimizing member acquisition, activation, and onboarding funnels preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare enrollment and eligibility standards preferred
  • Experience with data-intensive platforms and large-scale integrations preferred
  • Background working in highly regulated environments preferred
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Identity and credential verification, interviews, and fraud or misrepresentation screening are part of the hiring process
