Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business development and commercial growth for Teladoc Health Canada
  • Position Teladoc as a leader in transforming healthcare in Canada
  • Originate, develop, and close new business across private-sector B2B markets

  • Define and execute a multi-year growth roadmap across insurers, intermediaries, employers, and directed public payors
  • Identify growth opportunities using market trends and win/loss analyses
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new products and collaborate on pricing and value propositions
  • Lead the end-to-end pipeline, including strategic-account discovery, proposals, RFXs, pricing, and contract execution
  • Drive operational rigor through CRM, performance dashboards, adoption, and client-value data
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate sales and client management professionals
  • Set targets, compensation, forecasts, pipeline management, and performance management
  • Build client relationships supporting retention, expansion, and long-term partnership growth
  • Lead consultative engagement with strategic accounts and executive-level client meetings
  • Own customer success and experience strategy to support renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Evaluate and expand strategic alliances and channel partnerships
  • Represent Teladoc with clients and at conferences, trade exhibitions, and industry forums
  • Monitor client and industry trends to anticipate needs and inform engagement strategies
  • Oversee a team of sales and client management professionals on an interim basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a strategy, sales and client executive leadership position
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Healthcare, specifically in the group insurance and benefits industry
  • Proven ability to operate at the executive and board level, shaping strategy and influencing investment decisions
  • A Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced Business Degree or MBA preferred
  • Proven track record in relationship-led growth and business development, including securing and expanding strategic client and partner relationships
  • Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities
  • French proficiency considered an asset
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including building, leading, and developing high-performing teams
  • Advanced proficiency in leveraging technology for sales execution, client engagement, performance insight, and executive-level communication
  • Travel up to 40%
