About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a team of coaches
- Provide day-to-day support for essential team duties
- Support scheduling, shift coverage, training, support, and quality monitoring for existing products
- Contribute to best practices for current and future product-specific processes
- Solicit and consolidate team input
- Co-lead regularly scheduled team meetings with the Manager
- Participate in cross-functional projects and meetings
- Continue scheduled shifts to support members and coaches
- Mentor, support, train, and onboard new and existing team members
- Provide input on team training and professional development needs
- Gather and escalate team feedback
- Assist with recruitment and interviews as needed
- Maintain training records and the internal certification process
- Develop and apply Quality Monitoring processes
- Ensure operational coverage for products, including on-call or weekend coverage as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- Relevant underlying health or coach credentials for supporting members, coaches and products
- Previous experience working on products direct reports are serving is desired
- Responsibility for professional development and continuing education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with internal and external team members according to the Teladoc culture
- Ability to attend meetings online and/or in person if required
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable with mobile and remote technology and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, Webex, and Google Docs
- Compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations pertaining to training, FDA Quality System Regulation (cGMP), ISO 13485, Canadian Medical Device Regulation (CMDR), IVDD, MDD, and HIPAA
- Ability to support operational coverage that may include on-call or weekend coverage
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- NBC-HWC credential/certification is preferred
