About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a liaison for the commercial operation of the VEM Business Unit
- Ensure the success of internal and external customers throughout the VEM customer journey
- Manage VEM sales orders, customer inquiries, and inventory communication
- Communicate with customers and sales representatives regarding inquiries, order status, backorders, product changes, and pricing
- Monitor and release product constraints and exclusions to ensure appropriate allocation and timely release
- Work with marketing and sales on inventory transition plans during VEM product introductions
- Monitor and mitigate excess and obsolete inventory on VEM products, including escalation to management and management of the product constraint process
- Manage sales order processing and monitoring, pricing verification, and inventory-level verification
- Assist marketing with Requests for Information and Requests for Pricing
- Investigate and resolve data management and order management system problems
- Monitor and release VEM orders in SAP to facilitate distribution processing
- Work with sales representatives and customers to sell or donate expired or reserved products
- Interface with VEM Marketing, Customer Service, Scheduling, Demand Planning, Accounting, distribution center, and domestic and international manufacturing personnel
- Support internal and external customers with Non-Sterile Sample Requests
- Provide feedback on potential process improvements
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by management
- Adhere to Teleflex’s Code of Ethics and company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain or 5 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 3+ years customer service or sales experience required
- 3+ years of consumer packaged goods or medical device experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required
- Proficient in SAP
- Proficient knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
- Ability to accurately handle complex processes and multi-tVEM in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical manufacturing and/or distribution preferred
