About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, build, and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and customers
  • Communicate the value propositions of the UroLift System and Barrigel Rectal Spacer
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas for both product lines
  • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly territory plans
  • Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts
  • Identify, train, and develop accounts to integrate products into urology practices
  • Monitor market conditions and recommend commercial process enhancements
  • Collaborate with Professional Education teams to deliver clinical training to physicians
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance teams
  • Prioritize customers for strategic corporate relationships
  • Complete and submit required sales reporting forms
  • Assist with product complaints and safety issues
  • Comply with organizational policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations
  • Maintain a professional image with physicians, consultants, suppliers, and teammates
  • Manage travel and expenses within the approved budget

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of related experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong understanding of urology products and procedures
  • Operating room experience is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets consistently
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new and disruptive technologies in the urology space is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in negotiation and adept at adapting to changing work priorities
  • Strong analytical capabilities to refine business plans and sales techniques effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%-60% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to manage overnight travel as required
  • Ability to establish and maintain necessary credentials to work in hospitals and medical facilities
