About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, maintain, and improve software components, microservices, modern APIs, and integrations
- Translate backlog items and architectural direction into secure, testable, and releasable software
- Build and maintain automated unit, component, integration, and contract tests
- Apply secure development practices including OWASP, vulnerability management, static analysis, and SCA
- Identify and mitigate security risks and technical debt
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and automated deployment
- Share ownership of production reliability, operability, troubleshooting, and incident analysis
- Participate in agile ceremonies, backlog refinements, technical design sessions, code reviews, and retrospectives
- Share knowledge through pairing, mentoring, and technical discussions
- Integrate AI tools such as GitHub Copilot into development, testing, and documentation workflows
- Report to the Head of Software Development and collaborate with Product Owners, Software Architects, Agile Team Leads, Test Leads, and fellow developers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Proven professional track record in software engineering and maintenance of production systems in modern agile environments
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and stacks such as TypeScript / Node.js, Java, Python, or C# / .NET
- Solid understanding of modern APIs, REST / event-driven architectures, microservices, distributed architectures, and cloud development
- Preferably AWS serverless and cloud services such as Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
- Practical experience with Git-based workflows, GitHub Actions / CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code such as AWS SAM, CDK, or Terraform
- Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus
- Background checks required for all final candidates prior to employment
- Experience in telecom, IoT, automotive, or complex distributed high-throughput platforms is meritorious
- Experience using modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or LLM coding assistants is meritorious
