About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead AI cloud architecture and design
- Lead implementation and operation of the Cloud Infrastructure Platform
- Lead the AI cloud platform DevSecOps team
- Own the AI cloud platform technology roadmap with the commercial unit
- Establish technical standards and make architectural decisions while remaining involved in delivery
- Automate repetitive and resilient tasks to improve operational efficiency and enable on-demand self-service delivery
- Address technical risks and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Own the technical customer onboarding process
- Lead technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Serve as technical contact for technology partners
- Support key technical decisions as a strategic partner to technology management
- Collaborate with technology and business development teams to align the technical roadmap and embed security and sovereignty into platform development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in on-prem cloud infrastructure, ideally in AI/ML or GPU-based environments
- Strong architecture and technical skills in Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Experience with IAM, KMS, GitLab, Argo, Ansible, encryption, Terraform, Helm, operators, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with servers (CPU, GPU), networking, VLANs, overlays, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and storage including block, object, file, SAN, and SDS
- Experience with cloud-native operating models, DevSecOps, GitOps, and CI/CD
- Strong understanding and experience with cloud security, including resource isolation, perimeter security, remote access, vulnerability management, data protection, availability, EDR, network monitoring, IDS/IPS, and identities
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and teams
- Strategic and architecture mindset with hands-on implementation and leadership ability
- Familiarity with sovereign cloud principles and secure data residency
- Familiarity with the Norwegian Security Act
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to obtain security clearance in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act
- Background check through Semac for relevant candidates
