About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify robust sales opportunities and profile prospective customers
- Discover customer needs and drive new business through outbound campaigns
- Serve as the first point of contact for businesses regarding Google Cloud products
- Proactively engage prospects, build enthusiasm, and qualify business needs
- Propose adequate cloud solutions and route prospects to the appropriate Sales path
- Meet quarterly SQO quotas and daily/weekly activity targets
- Manage assigned accounts and educate prospects on Cloud offerings
- Execute daily outbound calls and emails, including cold calling, to C-level decision makers
- Establish rapport, assess needs, gather technical requirements, and align business needs with Cloud solutions
- Build value for next sales steps
- Maintain leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce CRM
- Work toward team and individual KPIs
- Document customer notes and deal details in Salesforce
Requirements
What you’ll need- C2 level of Italian and C1 of English (both written and spoken)
- BA/BS degree or relevant professional certification with 14 months practical experience
- Developing familiarity with IT infrastructure and technology concepts
- Keen interest in sales and aptitude for understanding business needs
- Comfortable in a structured, target-focused communication setting
- Initial experience or strong aptitude for phone-based engagement with business contacts
- Willingness and capacity to quickly learn and utilize CRM platforms
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills with the potential to develop business relationship building capabilities
- Initiative, confidence, and determination in a goal-oriented role
- Understanding of Italian business culture and regional differences within Italy
- Familiarity with key sectors of the Italian economy
- Ability to communicate with Italian professionals in formal and informal settings
- Understanding of Italian business language nuances
- Basic knowledge of Italian business regulations and data privacy laws
