Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Teleperformance. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients through inbound and outbound communications.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients through inbound and outbound communications.
- Field customer inquiries and provide responses to varying questions, issues, and concerns.
- Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media.
- Resolve and de-escalate customer issues.
- Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate.
- Respond to requests for assistance and/or process payments when applicable.
- Track call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Provide feedback on call issues.
- Upsell when required.
- Use web-based tools to resolve inquiries and deliver a positive customer experience.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
- Comfortable with desktop computer systems and general knowledge of Windows-based systems.
- Dedicated workspace located near the router to support a hardwired Ethernet connection.
- Minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload, with ISP under 50ms.
- Internet connection cannot be Satellite, Mobile Data (5G, 4G, 3G hotspots), P2P, or VPN.
- Proof of internet speed required.
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work within a structured schedule with varied shifts.
- Strong communication, listening, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and support departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
