About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in preparing monthly journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
  • Support month-end close activities and timely, accurate general ledger transaction posting.
  • Perform balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations by validating cash balances against bank statements, GL, and C2R records.
  • Collaborate with AR, AP, and Treasury teams on cash movements, settlements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review trial balance variances and prepare supporting schedules for management and audit purposes.
  • Assist with intercompany reconciliation and settlement tracking across multiple legal entities.
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and support depreciation postings.
  • Prepare and update reporting templates, trackers, and dashboards for month-end monitoring.
  • Ensure documentation and audit trails for R2R activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and update SOPs.
  • Participate in finance system testing, enhancements, and R2R automation efforts.
  • Gain exposure to the end-to-end R2R cycle, ERP systems, banking platforms, financial close, reconciliation governance, and internal controls.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Possesses good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Displays a positive attitude, professional character, and integrity when handling sensitive financial data.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and prior exposure to reconciliation or financial close processes is a plus.
